Madrid (Day #03)

Menos mal que los outfits me ayudan a hacer memoria, si no no sabría contaros que hicimos mi mejor amiga y yo en nuestro tercer día juntas. Esa mañana visitamos el Museo del Prado, y un poco deprisa y corriendo, conseguimos verlo entero. Luego almorzamos en un sitio encantador que yo había fichado hace tiempo gracias a una blogger madrileña: Magasand. El ambiente, la decoración, el camarero aquel tan mono... y la comida. Se notó que usaban ingredientes muy naturales, y todas las opciones en la carta tenían una buena pinta increíble.

Thankfully, the pictures bring back the memories... otherwise I wouldn't be able to remember what my best friend and I did on our third day in Madrid. That morning we visited the Prado Museum (kind of in a rush to get through the whole thing) Later we went out to lunch to this cute little place, Magasand, I had read a blog entry about from a blogger in Madrid. The atmosphere, decoration, that cute waiter... and the food. They obviously used very organic and high quality ingredients, and every dish sounded delicious.

Optamos por un gazpacho de remolacha y una vichyssoise. De segundo, Gen eligió un flat de roast beef, brotes, y varias salsas. Sí, eso de abajo fue my carpaccio de ternera... mataría por tomarlo otra vez. 

For starters, we tried some beetroot gazpacho and Vichyssoise. Gen chose a roast beef flat with roots and some sauce, and I went with the beef carpaccio pictured above (which, by the way, I still dream about)

Magasand queda recomendado 100% a todo aquel que vaya a deambular por Madrid y sea fan de almuerzos sanos, naturales y muy ricos.

With that said, I recommend Magasand 100% to anyone who happens to be around Madrid and enjoys light, healthy yet delicious lunches.
