¡Buenos días por la mañana! ¿Cómo lleváis lo del cambio de hora? Que coincida que me quiten una hora de sueño con que mañana vuelvo al colegio es una fatal combinación... discrepo profundamente.

Morning! How well are you dealing with daylight saving? (I guess this goes out to European readers, since American folks already changed the time last week) Coincidentally, spring daylight saving (which pretty much takes 1 hour of sleep away from you) and the end of spring break happen to be on the same Sunday, not a nice combination of events... I object profoundly.

Al menos ayer fue mejor día, después de jueves y viernes Santo de tiendas cerradas disfruté de una escapada capitalista por el centro. Andaba buscando un clutch transparente de Zara, mencionado en mi última entrada, y conseguí encontrarlo. En el Corte Inglés tenía restos de una tarjeta regalo, así que aproveche para comprarme un lápiz de cejas... si, habéis oído bien. Me uno a la secta Cara Delevignista de cejas que tienden ligeramente al Paleolítico y anteriores periodos.

At least yesterday was a better day, after surviving with every store on the face of the Earth  Spain being closed during Easter Thursday and Friday, I went out for a capitalist getaway. I hunted down every Zara in Granada to try to find the clear clutch I mentioned in my last post... and I was successful. I had some leftover money in a gift card from El Corte Inglés (biggest Spanish department store), so I seized the chance to buy an eyebrow pencil... yes, you heard right. I am officially joining the Cara Delevigne-ist sect of eyebrows that tend slightly to the Paleolithic ways.

Clutch: Zara (19,95€)

Pues claro que se le había ocurrido a alguien

Esta tarde, dándole vueltas después de ver el nuevo modelo de clutch transparente que todas conocemos (de los de Olympia Charlotte) he pensado "Eh, ¿y si te pillaras un bolso caja transparente y tu misma cosieras distintos monederitos a tu gusto?" Durante un par de segundos me he sentido extraordinariamente orgullosa de la genialidad que se me había ocurrido, hasta que me he metido a googlear y... mi querido Amancio ya había tenido esta brillante idea. Y los amigos de Stradivarius también. Y una bloggera muy cuqui (cuya entrada sobre este clutch podeis encontrar aquí) también.

This afternoon, I had been thinking about the new clear box clutch our beloved Charlotte Olympia has come out with this spring, and I thought "Heeeeey, what if you got yourself a clear box clutch and sewed the little pouches yourself, with fabrics and everything according to your taste?" For a couple of seconds, I must confess I felt extremely proud of my genius idea until I decided to google it and guess what... dear Amancio Ortega had already come up with it. And so had the pals over at Stradivarius. And this really cute blogger (whose entry regarding the clutch you can find right over here) too.

Así que la parte mala sería mi falta de originalidad. La buena sería que mañana mismo voy a ir a Zara a intentar encontrar ese clutch transparente (me gusta más este por su forma más alargada que el de Stradivarius) y simplemente el hecho de saber que hay clones de todo, para las personas de a pie que no pueden gastarse 600 pavos en un trozo de metacrilato.

So, the bad part: that was a pretty hard blow on the originality I thought I had. Good part would be that no later than tomorrow I'm going to hunt down Zara to try to find this clutch (I like this one better than the Stradivarius one, since it's less square-shaped). Also, it feels nice knowing that clones of basically everything exist for real people who are not able to spend 600€ on a piece of methacrylate.
