Statement necklace

Bueeeenas tardes! He estado algo desconectada este último par de días porque era mi última semana de vacaciones y ha sido un no parar entre vida social y el nuevo proyecto de pintura (ya os contaré más sobre él cuando haya terminado) en el que me he embarcado con vistas a terminarlo antes de empezar el instituto el día 16. En un descanso de mi estresante último fin de semana de libertad os traigo este post, algo breve fotográficamente, de una noche hace un par de semanas en la que salí a cenar sushi con mi novio. No es que en Granada haya muchos japoneses, pero al que fuimos, el Zakuro, es mi favorito a la hora de sushi. 

Good afternoon! I've been insanely busy and out of it for the past few days because I've been making the most out of my last week of freedom before staring high school again. I haven't stopped even for a second, having a social life and working on the new painting project I started (I'll tell you all about it when it's finished) has been really time-consuming. I'm now on a small break from painting so I'm catching up on comments and reading your blogs, and also writing this. These pictures are from a couple of weeks ago, from a sushi dinner I had with my boyfriend. Granada doesn't have a ton of Japanese restaurants but Zakuro is my favorite when it comes down to sushi.

No me compliqué mucho a la hora del vestuario: shorts (por aquellos entonces aún hacía calorcito por las noches), una blusa con un amarillo precioso y poco más, todo para darle protagonista al collar, el cual es de fabricación propia pero inspirado en uno que sacó Bimba & Lola pero que como suele pasar, tenía un precio desorbitado. Os dejó aquí el link del tutorial que utilicé: viene muy bien explicado, pero la verdad es que el proceso de fabricación da bastante tarea y hay que tener un poquito de paciencia. Luego elegí mi bolsito (realmente es más pequeño de lo que parece) favorito por el precioso color morado-azulón que tiene y el mono que tenía de ponermelo, que lo tenía muy abandonado.

I didn't make a fuss when it came down to picking the outfit: shorts (because back then it was still hot at night time), a really pretty yellow plain blouse, and that's about it, since I wanted to let the statement necklace be the protagonist. I made it myself although it was inspired in a Bimba&Lola necklace from 2 winters ago, but of course the original had an insane price tag considering the materials. Here's the tutorial I used: every step is really clear, but the process of making it is kinda long and is a pain in the arse. I also chose a little (really, it's smaller than it appears in pictures) electric blue-purple ish bag that I hadn't worn in forever.
