O bien porque el título del post encienda la bombillita musical de vuestras cabezas y empecéis a tatarear el éxito sesentero, o bien porque no sepáis de que hablo y encontréis todo este asunto algo grotesco, el caso es que ha captado vuestra atención y quiero hablaros de este fenómeno clutchero.

After reading this post title, whether that little musical light bulb has gone off in your head and you have unintentionally started singing this 60's hit to yourself or you don't know what the heck I'm talking about and this all just quite grotesque, I have caught your attention so now you can hear me go on about this clutch phenomena.

A mal día, buenas caras.

Y digo caras, así en plural, porque precisamente el viernes me dediqué a eso: a arreglar un día, que había sido malo a nivel personal, haciendo lo que más disfruto haciendo en este mundo. Pero más concretamente, fue una tarde de retratos robados.

*En este post voy a dejar la parte de mi outfit para el final, puesto que creo que las otros fotos se merecen mucho más estar en primer plano.

El tiempo de sandalias está a la vuelta de la esquina y la pregunta es... ¿estáis preparadas?
Yo este invierno descubrí las sandalias de Rene Caovilla y desde aquel entonces tengo la idea en la cabeza. Se trata de modelos de sandalias a veces muy recargados, quizás demasiado, pero me llamó la atención la manera de mezclar materiales como mini cuerdas con empedrado en colores más que veraniegos.

 

Sandal season is right around the corner, and the question at hand is: are we ready for it?
This winter I came across Rene Caovilla sandals and since then I have had an idea in mind. These styles are dripping with embellishments and are sometimes excessive, but what caught my eye was the mixing of materials like those tiny ropes and the stones.

Pues claro que se le había ocurrido a alguien

Esta tarde, dándole vueltas después de ver el nuevo modelo de clutch transparente que todas conocemos (de los de Olympia Charlotte) he pensado "Eh, ¿y si te pillaras un bolso caja transparente y tu misma cosieras distintos monederitos a tu gusto?" Durante un par de segundos me he sentido extraordinariamente orgullosa de la genialidad que se me había ocurrido, hasta que me he metido a googlear y... mi querido Amancio ya había tenido esta brillante idea. Y los amigos de Stradivarius también. Y una bloggera muy cuqui (cuya entrada sobre este clutch podeis encontrar aquí) también.

This afternoon, I had been thinking about the new clear box clutch our beloved Charlotte Olympia has come out with this spring, and I thought "Heeeeey, what if you got yourself a clear box clutch and sewed the little pouches yourself, with fabrics and everything according to your taste?" For a couple of seconds, I must confess I felt extremely proud of my genius idea until I decided to google it and guess what... dear Amancio Ortega had already come up with it. And so had the pals over at Stradivarius. And this really cute blogger (whose entry regarding the clutch you can find right over here) too.

Así que la parte mala sería mi falta de originalidad. La buena sería que mañana mismo voy a ir a Zara a intentar encontrar ese clutch transparente (me gusta más este por su forma más alargada que el de Stradivarius) y simplemente el hecho de saber que hay clones de todo, para las personas de a pie que no pueden gastarse 600 pavos en un trozo de metacrilato.

So, the bad part: that was a pretty hard blow on the originality I thought I had. Good part would be that no later than tomorrow I'm going to hunt down Zara to try to find this clutch (I like this one better than the Stradivarius one, since it's less square-shaped). Also, it feels nice knowing that clones of basically everything exist for real people who are not able to spend 600€ on a piece of methacrylate.
